Registered Dental Hygienist
Kate attended Harcum College where she earned her dental hygiene degree in 2018 while also receiving the prestigious Golden Scaler Award as top clinician in her class. Since then, she has gained extensive experience working in a periodontal office and is now an integral part of our team. A thorough and skilled clinician with a gentle touch, Kate is very conscientious and feels that patient comfort is of the utmost importance as she will individualize the cleaning experience for each patient. She exhibits a friendly and caring personality which enables her to educate and build relationships with her patients. Away from her job, Kate enjoys interior decorating. She also likes to spend time at the beach and going on hikes with her Golden Retriever, Tazz.
Judy
Receptionist / Office Manager
Judy has been part of Dr. Hoffman’s team since 2004. She serves as receptionist as well as office and scheduling manager. Judy graduated from the University of Delaware with a Bachelor of Science in elementary education in 1992. Prior to working for Dr. Hoffman, she was a primary grade teacher in both the Philadelphia and Cranberry, New Jersey public school systems. Judy is a conscientious, warm and caring person who feels that it is of the utmost importance to not only make patients feel welcome and comfortable but to also make certain that all their dental needs are being addressed. She also believes that establishing a strong rapport with patients is a vital aspect of office management. Away from the office, Judy enjoys listening to a variety of music, hiking, biking, swimming, traveling, visiting art museums, attending opera productions and Broadway musicals/plays and watching movies.
